wowzers... never thought that would happen...

 now if only half of those views people left helpful/any critiques...

well it seems like there goes another year...

Its been a busy one i can tells ya... moved out, started new job, went over to europe for 6 weeks...

Worked on a couple of iphone games now and i am currently in production of a third. Its actually interesting reading the comments and critiques that people give for the apps. Generally we have gotten some decent reviews which is nice. Although i have noticed that there are some people who seem to want complete games, indepth and massive replayability and still only pay a dollar. I work with one other guy outside of hours and we put in a fair amount of time to these projects.

Its also interesting to see the change in my artwork for games now that ive been painting and drawing more... they seem to have a whole lot more life to them. Its really cool to see how far i've progressed through the year.

edit: we changed the name due to finding a mobile phone game with the same name...

ok well so the new scratch guard arrived. I put it on... I scratched the supposedly unscratchable scratch guard within a couple of hours and it felt like crap to draw on.

So i said stuff it. I'm returning it and to hell with being worried about scratches! i'll take care of the tablet as best i can!

On top of that i bought it from america and then afterwards i find out that i could have bought it from australia!... shoulda done more research

back to the ol drawing board

Ok well i havent been doing as much digital sketching as i would like at the moment. i started getting some scratches on my cintiq and in an effort to reduce the amount that i am getting i ordered a scratch guard from the interwebs. seeing as i am in little ol australia and its coming from america i need to wait a little while. so i'm a little shy from using it until the guard arrives.

i have been busy drawing in my sketch book to keep up the drawing and i've also been working on a side project with an old friend which i will reveal at a later date.

so until my new guard arrives (im a little impatient when it comes to ordering things online) im just gonna keep sketchin...

oh yeah... work is sooo quiet at the moment... wondering if i should start looking around the place for a new job... would love to be a concept artist... not sure i has the skills just yet.
